SOSV in Greater China: HAX, IndieBio, MOX Compared

SOSV operates three accelerator programmes relevant to HK-based founders: HAX (Shenzhen, hardware), IndieBio (San Francisco, biotech), and MOX (Taipei, mobile/apps). HAX is SOSV’s flagship Asia programme and the most relevant for HK hardware founders: it provides access to Shenzhen’s electronics supply chain, in-house engineering support, and a network of contract manufacturers. The HAX terms are approximately US$250,000 for 10-15% equity. MOX, SOSV’s mobile-focused programme based in Taipei, is smaller but provides a gateway to the Southeast Asian mobile market.
